This week, the California Funders for Boys and Men of Color gathered in San Diego for the annual all-member meeting of foundation CEOs working together to shape a better future for boys and men of color. Attendees updated each other on the work they are leading and got a sneak peak of Here to Lead, a storytelling initiative lifting up the leadership of boys and men of color across the state. Stay tuned for the launch of the campaign later this month!
PYJI, an initiative of the Sierra Health Foundation aimed at helping communities across California transform juvenile justice practice and policy, recently released four new briefs in partnership with The National Council on Crime and Delinquency that highlight how the initiative’s 11 grantee partners across the state and their coalitions are mobilizing to shape more progressive juvenile justice policies at the local and state levels.
